Can you straighten a bent propeller?

Many bent propellers can be successfully straightened and rebalanced. We remove your props, send them to our trusted propeller repair partners, and reinstall them upon completion. However, severely damaged props may need replacement.

How do I know if my cutlass bearings need replacement?

Signs include vibration while underway, unusual noise from the running gear area, visible play when you manually move the shaft, or water intrusion past worn bearing surfaces. We can inspect your bearings and recommend replacement if needed.

Do you service all brands of pod drives?

Yes, our technicians have experience with all major pod drive systems including Volvo Penta IPS, Cummins Zeus, and others. We handle routine maintenance, seal service, and coordinate warranty work when applicable.

Should I upgrade to dripless shaft seals?

Dripless shaft seals offer zero or minimal water intrusion, reduced maintenance requirements, and elimination of the need to periodically adjust packing. They’re an excellent upgrade for most vessels.
